We are now looking for our sixth developer to join the Responsible Gaming team to help drive our continued success.
THE TEAM
Our Responsible Gaming team plays a key role in our vision of being a sustainable and responsible business.
In this role, you will be part of a highly experienced and skilled team where openness and everyone’s contributions and opinions are valued. We work together in everything we do, fostering a team spirit and an open-minded atmosphere where everyone's contributions are truly valued.
THE ROLE
You will engage in the entire development process, from requirement specification, story creation, and estimation to development, testing, release, and maintenance.
You will also work with:
- Project Leadership: Take charge of leading projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery and implementation.
- Full Lifecycle Engagement: Engage in all development stages of our integration platform, focusing on stability, maintainability, and adaptability to rapidly incorporate new features, rules and requirements. Emphasis on low code debt and clear, understandable code is essential.
- Architectural Influence: Use your Java expertise to contribute to architectural decisions, with an understanding of their long-term impact on the project.
- Mentorship: Offer guidance and mentorship to more junior team members, fostering their growth and development within the team.
YOUR PROFILE
To thrive here, you should be truly curious and passionate about software development. You are confident in taking initiative and working independently, yet equally comfortable and interested in collaborating with others. Driven and proactive, you don’t hesitate to ask for assistance when needed.
Seen to the technical elements of the role, we are looking for an experienced Java Developer with at least five years of experience in Java development. Proficiency in modern Java frameworks, particularly Spring Boot, is essential for our projects. Additionally, experience with Kafka for messaging and PostgreSQL for database management is required, as these technologies are integral to our systems. Familiarity with cloud platforms, such as AWS or other cloud services, is also important to support our cloud-based projects.
Additional skills that will make you stand out:
- High-Volume Transaction Systems Experience: A background in managing systems with intense transactional demands is highly valued.
- Leadership for Large Projects: Successfully led and delivered larger-scale projects from start to finish.
- Mentorship Abilities: Experience in coaching more junior team members, fostering their development with clear guidance and constructive feedback in a supportive environment.

INFORMATION
Start Date: As soon as possible, subject to notice period requirements.
Duration: Full-time/Permanent with a six-month probation period.
Remote work/location: Requirement of being in the office for a few days per week.
- In Stockholm: A modern and vibrant co-working office with a 9th-floor view at United Spaces, Klarabergsviadukten 63. Including weekly breakfasts, afterworks, Gym, yoga-classes, events and a lot more.
