The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payment Operations Analyst to join our Payments team at Malta. In this role, you will oversee and optimize our online payment processes, ensuring they are reliable, compliant, and efficient. You will work closely with internal teams to enhance payment performance, reduce friction, and deliver a seamless customer experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong analytical skills and a solid background in payments to make a direct impact on both operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and optimize online payment processing workflows, ensuring reliability, compliance, and efficiency.
- Develop, monitor, and analyze PSP performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Leverage transaction data to generate actionable insights that improve payment success rates and enhance the customer journey.
- Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to management on PSP performance and payment flows.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging payment technologies, and regulatory developments relevant to online payments.
- Support the testing, validation, and rollout of new payment features and routing logic.
- Collaborate with Finance, AML and Customer Service teams to drive payment efficiency and strengthen the overall customer experience.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in online payment processing and managing multiple PSP integrations.
- At least 3 years of experience in payments or payment analytics, preferably within the iGaming industry.
- Hands-on knowledge of PaymentIQ is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel/reporting capabilities and attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of user experience design principles, particularly as they apply to payment flows.
- Demonstrated ability to define, monitor, and optimize PSP performance metrics.
- A collaborative and proactive communicator, comfortable engaging with both technical and operational teams.
- Based in or willing to relocate to Malta
- Proficiency in English at an excellent level is required.
