We are seeking a detail-oriented Payment Specialist to manage daily operational and administrative tasks related to customer payments in the Spanish market. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth, accurate, and secure payment operations, while adhering to internal procedures and regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and timely execution, supporting the company’s commitment to reliable customer processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Payment Operations: Process manual withdrawals, account adjustments, and failed registrations; oversee automated payment flows and escalate anomalies when needed.
Compliance & Verification: Perform ID checks for new customers, enhanced checks for first-time deposits, and ensure adherence to Spanish regulations.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve escalated payment issues (failed, delayed, or stuck transactions) and handle customer queries when required.
Collaboration & Reporting:
Work closely with Finance, Customer Support, and the Group Payment Team to resolve PSP bottlenecks.
Monitor PSP accounts and dashboards to ensure accurate fund management.
Support testing and reporting requests from other departments.
Prepare tax reports and assist Finance with cashflow monitoring.
What We’re Looking For
Work experience in payment operations, finance, or compliance.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with high accuracy.
Knowledge of Spanish regulatory requirements for payments (advantageous).
Problem-solving skills and ability to handle escalated issues under pressure.
Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams.
Fluent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish are required.
Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Ceuta.
